December 3, 2009
To a Yankee, this is too funny:
Severe Weather Alert: The San Francisco Bay Area is expected to get colder and wetter next week, a National Weather Service forecaster said. A cold front is expected to move in Sunday night, bringing with it rain and wind ranging from 10 to 25 mph, forecaster Diana Henderson said. A drop in temperatures is expected in most cities in the Bay Area, which is averaging temperatures in the mid 50s to 60s this week.
Monday is expected to be the coldest day of the week [...] temperatures are expected to drop to 59 in Santa Rosa, 58 in Oakland, 57 in Napa, Redwood City and San Francisco, and 56 in San Jose.
She advised motorists to slow down and said, "If you can avoid going out, avoid going out."
